The Fairhaven Cultural Council is an appointed board whose function is to award grant funding to local individuals and programs that provide cultural opportunities and support the growth of the arts and humanities in our community. Grant moneys are provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council as well as the town of Fairhaven.
The Fairhaven Cultural Council awards grants based on the following funding priorities:
• Priority will be given to first-time applicants in Fairhaven.
• Successful proposals will demonstrate a clear benefit to Fairhaven residents.
• Priority will be given to grants for programs or projects that take place in and/or are specifically related to the culture and history of Fairhaven.
Interested parties may submit grant applications between September 15th and October 15th to support projects taking place in the following calendar year.
Applicants should read the Massachusetts Cultural Council Guidelines for projects to make sure your project or organization qualifies:
