CURBSIDE RECYCLABLES COLLECTION
Residents can recycle the following at the curb:
PAPER-newspaper & inserts, cereal boxes, brochures/fliers, mail, magazines,
catalogues, telephone books, 3’ cardboard pieces, cardboard boxes
PLASTICS-#1-#7
METAL-food cans, aluminum foil
GLASS-clear & colored glass bottles & jars
NOT ACCEPTED: plastic bags, film bags, juice & milk packs, chemical containers, aerosol cans, broken glass, ceramics, dinnerware
DO: commingle containers in the bin. Crush plastic. Place paper on top of bin in paper bags or tied with string.
PLACE AT CURBSIDE BY 7:00 AM ON THE DAY OF COLLECTION.
RECYCLING SCHEDULE
Recycling Collection Schedule - Bins are collected every other week usually two days after your trash collection day. Call the Board of Health about the schedule.
Holiday Schedule – There is NEVER recycling collection on any Monday. On a non-Monday holiday, collections for the week will be delayed one day with Friday’s collection being on the Saturday.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM to Noon & Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Apr-Dec)
Location: 5 Arsene Street, off Route 6-across from Comcast
Residents can bring the following items to the Recycling center
· All of the recyclables collected curbside ? Scrap metal
· White goods (dryers, ovens, etc.) ? Used oil $0.25 per gallon
· Tires (auto $2, truck $10, tractor $30) ? Lead & acid batteries
· Oil filters $1 each ? Freon items (refrig, AC) $10 each
· Computers & TV’s $15 each ? Grass, leaves, yard waste
· Mercury containing items (fluorescent bulbs, thermometers, thermostats) Call the
BOH for information. We have a free thermostat exchange-receive a digital one!
