Community Electricity Aggregation Feedback
The Town of Fairhaven, supported by the Massachusetts Southcoast chapter of the Climate Reality Project and the Fairhaven Sustainability Committee, is looking for your feedback on purchasing 10% more renewable electricity in the Community Electricity Aggregation contract. This would automatically enroll everyone in an additional 10% of renewable energy on top of what is required by the state. The contract gives everyone the following choices:
Opt up to 50% or 100% renewable electricity.
Opt down to receive no additional renewable electricity above the state law requirement.
Opt out of the aggregation program altogether.
