IMPORTANT DATES/DEADLINES:

Wednesday, February 10, 2021– 5:00 PM – Last day and hour for requesting nomination papers. 

Monday, February 8, 2021 – 5:00 PM – Last day and hour for Town Meeting Member incumbents to file written request for re-election with the Town Clerk.

Friday, February 12, 2021 – 5:00 PM – Last day and hour for filing all nomination papers with the Registrar of Voters (Town Clerk’s Office).

Wednesday, March 3, 2021 – 5:00 PM – Last day and hour to withdraw or object to nomination papers. 

Tuesday, March 16, 2021 - Last day to register voters for the Town Election.  The Town Clerk’s Office will be open from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM on this day.  

Monday, March 29, 2021– Warrant must be posted. 

Papers for town-wide office require 50 CERTIFIED SIGNATURES

Papers for Town Meeting Members require 10 CERTIFIED SIGNATURES FROM YOUR PRECINCT ONLY

You may register to vote any day from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM – Monday through Friday in the Town Clerk’s Office, online or through a mail-in registration form.

How can I run for a Town Elected position?

Nomination papers are available as of December 1, 2020 at the Town Clerk's Office located inside Town Hall at 40 Center St. Nomination papers for town-wide office election require 50 certified signatures.
Completed nomination papers with signatures must be submitted to the Town Clerk's office no later than Friday, February 12 at 5:00PM. 

How do I get on the ballot as a Town Meeting Member?

Nomination papers are available as of December 1, 2020 at the Town Clerk's Office located inside Town Hall at 40 Center St. Nomination papers for town-wide office election require 10 certified signatures from your precinct only. Town Meeting Members who seek re-election should file a written request with the Town Clerk no later than Monday, February 10 at 5PM.
Completed nomination papers with signatures must be submitted to the Town Clerk's office no later than Friday, February 12 at 5:00PM.
