Notice is hereby given of a hearing to be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
Applicant has requested a demolition permit for 27 Fort Street. The Historical Commission will hold a public hearing for the purpose of determining whether this structure should be saved and not demolished. The Commission's role is preserving and protecting historic and architecturally significant buildings within the Town of Fairhaven that constitute or reflect distinctive features of the architectural, cultural, economic, political or social history of the Town and to limit the detrimental effect of demolition on the character of the neighborhood and Town in general.
