Historical Commission
On April 3, 1971, Annual Town Meeting voted to accept Section 8D of Chapter 40 of the Massachusetts General Laws and establish in the Town of Fairhaven a Historical Commission to mark, acquire, maintain, preserve, promote and develop places of historical value.
