Check your Sump Pump

As we enter into the wet weather season, the Board of Public Works would like to remind homeowners with sump pumps to check these units to ensure they are in good operating condition so that valuables are not destroyed.

In addition, please be aware that pumping, siphoning or otherwise discharging any water or liquid substance under his/her control into or across any public street or sidewalk is a violation of Town By-Law.
