Fairhaven Community Electricity Aggregation Program Renewed through 2023

Are you currently enrolled in the Fairhaven Community Electricity Aggregation Program? Did you know that the program has been renewed through December 2023?

The program is part of a 25-community electricity purchasing group which is now starting its 6th year.

As part of the renewal of our electricity program, the Fairhaven Selectboard voted to include 10% additional local renewable energy as part of the default rate. While this does increase the cost of energy, the benefit of investing in renewable energy is important to the future of our Town, Community and the globe.

Residents who wish to keep their energy cost lower, can choose the “Fairhaven Basic” rate. Residents who wish to stay in the default plan, will automatically be enrolled in 10% renewable energy.

Participants also have the opportunity to upgrade to 50% or 100% renewable energy at a slightly higher cost.

Fairhaven businesses,residents, nonprofits can join the program at any time

New prices take effect in January and are listed at MassCEA.com/Fairhaven.
