High Heat Advisory

High Heat advisory is in effect. The National Weather Service is forecasting a period of oppressive heat and humidity today till 8 pm this evening. Residents should expect temperatures in the high 80's to low 90's. Residents are asked to check on children and our senior population regularly.
The Fairhaven Senior Center is opened today as a cooling center for our senior population. All seniors are welcome and if you need transportation, please contact the Fairhaven Senior Center at 508-979- 4029 for assistance.
The Senior Center will be offering a variety of activities:
Wednesday, July 20
11:00am: Movie
Thursday, July 21
10:00am: BINGO
Afternoon: Movie
Card games are available with the Pitch Group
Friday, July 22
Morning: Dice Games
Afternoon: BINGO
Meals are provided for $2.00 a meal
