Notary services at Town Hall will be unavailable on Friday, March 15, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

General reminders for notary service:

• DO NOT sign the document(s) ahead of time, it must be signed in the presence of the notary
• Bring a valid photo ID
• All signers must be present at the time of 
• Town Hall does not notarize: deeds, mortgages, wills, living wills, living
  trusts, codicils, real estate transactions or depositions

In accordance with Massachusetts Notarial Law, Notaries will not provide service
if the customer, document or circumstances of the request for Notary Service
raise any issue of authenticity, ambiguity, doubt or uncertainty. In this event, the
Notary may, at his/her sole discretion, decline to provide Notary Service.
