SRPEDD will be conducting aerial photography using a drone over Fairhaven on Saturday 9/8/2018

Please be aware that SRPEDD will be capturing photos and videos for the Regional Transportation Plan.
The intention is to conduct some brief aerial flights on the morning of Saturday, 9/8 in the vicinity of the Pheonix Bike Trail in Fairhaven, and the Harbor Walk in New Bedford. These flights will be conducted outside the New Bedford Airport's Class-D Airspace (though they do employ a visual observer to spot low-flying aircraft for extra safety).
SRPEDD intends to launch and recover from town-owned land in all regular cases, but in an emergency may land in other, safe locations as needed.
