Town Accepting Bids for Fire Department Items
The Town of Fairhaven (Town) through its Procurement Office is requesting sealed bids for the sale of one (1) 1986 Boston Whaler Frontier and trailer and (1) 1998 C-Hawk Cabin Cruiser. The above have been taken out of service by the Town of Fairhaven and will be sold in “as is” condition with no warranty expressed or implied. The Town of Fairhaven urges prospective bidders to view the vehicles and equipment before submitting the bid.
The above vehicles and equipment will be available for inspection by contacting the Fairhaven Harbormaster at (508) 979-4023 x 124. Inspections will be by appointment ONLY, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 08:00am to 4:00pm, excluding holidays.
Sealed bids will be received until 1:00pm on Monday, October 15, 2019. Late submittals will not be accepted. After the closing time, the Interested Party submittals will be opened for the sole purpose of recording the names of the Interested Parties submitting. Sealed bids will be received at Town of Fairhaven, Mark Rees, Town Administrator, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719.
The Town of Fairhaven reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part and to waive any informalities or irregularities, as it may deem to be in the Town of Fairhaven’s best interest.
