Annual Town Meeting June 18, 2022- Precautions

In Preparation for our first in-person Town Meeting since 2019, please see the following message from the Town Moderator, Mark Sylvia. 

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

The Town Moderator, in consultation with the Health Agent, Town Counsel and the Precinct Chairs strongly recommend the following precautions be taken at both the Town Meeting Preview / Precinct Meetings on Wednesday June 15, 2022 (Precinct Meetings begin at 6:30pm with Preview to follow) and at the Annual Town Meeting on Saturday, June 18, 2022 (beginning at 9:00am):

  • Wear a mask unless speaking at the microphones.
  • Socially distance while seated – leaving one space between you and the next person.
  • Take an at home test before attending the meetings – the Board of Health has free at home test kits available.
  • If  you test positive you should stay home.

You are also encouraged to bring a mask from home but if you need one, masks will be available at the meetings.  Hand sanitizer will also be available for use and home test kits will be available at the Town Meeting Preview for use before the Annual Town Meeting.
